Default supervee 27 brushless ????'s

Hey guys i got a quick question for ya! I have a supervee 27 brushless and was wondering if the brushless motor should be alittle hard to turn over by hand or if it should be freewheeling and easy to spin over? And also i noticed the esc does not have an on/off switch and no room for a rx pack, and no where in the intructions does it say to plug your rx pack in... im not real new to rc boats just this boat lol, any help would be great thanks

no rx pack required and the motors are very hard to turn.

So then does the rx get power from the batteries then?, and would 2 3800mah be good enough?

If you are running these batteries in series I would reccomend at leat 5000mah.

Are you running lipos or nimh cells? If you are running 4s lipo or 12cells then you will be ok, if
however you are running 14cells i would recomend using a rx pack or ubec. you simply disconnect the
red wire on the esc to receiver cable. your batterys will work but your run times wont be that good, i
would also recomend 5000mah batts. I run 2 of the zippy flightmax 2s 5000mah 20c lipos in series
and it runs nicely. mid 40s with the right prop.

The only lipos i have at the moment are two 2s 2400 mah for 1/16 mini revo...i really didnt think that those would even come close to working since it 1/16 scale batts vs.1/10 scale i didnt wanna even try lol..

yeah, your runtimes would only be about 2min with those packs
and your 3800's will work fine, but bigger is better for more amps
