Default Dolphin Hydro

Good Day Everyone ,

I have a 42" hydroplane from Promise Hobby on the way i wish to power it Brushless as opposed to the traditional 26cc Gasoline . The boat comes with the rails installed (5" spacing) . What would be the best way to mount the motor ? secondly what would be the best motor to get ? And also what ESC would everyone recomend ?

I saw a link to a "big" castle creations motor, it's supposed to be good for up to 10hp.  That should do it.  I think it was $300 I'll see if I can find a link

here is the motor, http://www.castlecreations.com/products/2028_motor.html<div>
</div><div>and here with the ESC you can get a package deal http://www.castlecreations.com/products/mamba_xl.html only $619.00 [X(]</div><div>
</div><div>but that should be one killer package.  Just add water. . . cooling.</div>

The water cooling part will be kinda hard to do effectively don't you think ? Perhaps the ESC would be straight forward but  "the old wrap a tube around the motor " water cooling is just not effective ..... and you say it's a $300 motor (with Made in China stamped on the side) i'd rather not chance crappy cooling .......... Are there any other options ? Besides the mega buck European stuff .
