Hi all,
First off it's been a very long time since I last posted here. The weather in the UK at the moment is brilliant and I was thinking about taking my boat out. However I had my batteries which are 4500mAh 20 C 14.8V fully charged and sitting around for over a year now. I'd like to know the proper way of going about using them again whether it means how to discharge them etc... thanks in advance.

If they have been sitting for a year fully charged they have doubtless lost some capacity, and their internal balance may have drifted somewhat. Depending on your charger, I'd make certain to balance them before charging, otherwise you may damage one or more cells. Once balanced, charge and go.

I just brought a lipo back to life from being underwater for 4 weeks !
If it gives you Low Voltage when you try to charge it, put it on NiMH up to 3V per cell then change to Lipo balance.
Weather has been good eh !
