Default Electrics for Dauntlas

I use my Dauntless for a recovery boat as well as a play boat. What I want to do is get more speed.Right now I have dumas twin electric counter rotating.I don't want it to do 50 MPH but would like it to get up and plane and do 20-25 MPH.What electric motors and ESC would be best suited for this model to acomplish this.

Default RE: Electrics for Dauntlas

I used the VXL-3s with two 700 Johnson brushed motors, got the 12 volt battery from cabellas for $20 each or $50 with two and charger. This set up is being used in my American Enterprise but will work the same in the Dauntless,Im building it as Im typing. It is in the bones stage and Im consulting with Rich as i build. You can see the Enterprise in the Dock Talk section under the Tualatin Tree lighting 2010.Mine is the Kringle boat and Barge,Im running the set up in that one.I get about 30-45 min per charge or a little less when im running it lighted.Has all of the Dumas Running gear and props from the kit they supply.Good luck and have fun!!
