Default Spark Eliminator

I have changed my ESC my new one does not have a spark eliminator so i get a loud crack ( on 8s ) when i connect the battery ,will this damage my ESC or caps etc ?????
also I am getting some pitting on the bullit connectors now ,

can somebody post details of what parts are needed to make one and where to fit them

The pop is the initial charge of the caps (people may chim in and disagree). Your battery connectors will get worn quickly from the constant spark. Ben (fightercat) sells some kits. Awesome guy to deal with. Just create a free login http://fightercatracing.com/index.ph...t&Itemid=1

Kintec has a slick unit you can move from boat to boat. The ideal setup is to hard wire them but I have so many lipos, combos and boats it makes life much easier to just plug one in. http://kintecracing.com/
