Hello again. I am still trying to decide on a boat. I will mostly be running it in ponds. For those of you with experience, which hull design would offer the best stability?

In my area, we most often are faced with 10-15mph winds. Sometimes more. Rarely do we have flat water. I was looking at the Mystic 29, Miss Geico, and Motley Crew.

I am now also looking at some Deep V's, like the Traxxas Spartan, The <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; ">Kyosho EP Twinstorm 800 VE36 Readyset, and the Impulse 31.

I have already received some great insight on my 3 Cat choices, but now am looking for input on Deep V's.

Any help is appreciated regarding stability and Deep V choices.

A Vee will handle the chop the best out of any hull. My suggestions would be the following:

1) Stay away from the Spartan, do some research at a non-bias/non-traxxas controlled forum such as OSE or RCG. That boat is a joke
2) The Impulse 31 is a good rtr boat and possible the best rtr mono on the market currently
3) The artr Pursuit sold at Kintec and OSE (forum members only on ose) is a AMAZING handling deep vee, stay away from the HK version of this boat. The hulls is the same, but you will need to replace all the junk HK threw in it, OSE and Kintec take care of that for you.
