New tunnel hull concept
It seems that electric boats either have long run times but poor performance or short run times but amazing performance. Fast RC Boat is releasing a tunnel (the F1 Unlimited) which has both long run times and good performance. I heard it utilizes a modified REK outboard leg and an efficient brushless motor. It want be a racer out of the box from what I've heard, but it can easily be modified.

How long have you been working for Fast RC Boat? How do you define" long run times"? With what batteries? What is "good performance"? Where is it made? How much does it coat? There are a number of good RTRs currently on the market with both 'good performance' and relatively long run times. I hope that the Fast RC Boat OPC entry is an excellent addition to the list.

Haha, I don't work for them! I just heard this as I was buying a different boat from fastrcboat. I am being vague because-well, I don't really know much about it. We'll just have to wait and see when it comes out. All I know is it does 25 out of the box and has "long" run times.

RE: New tunnel hull concept
25 is not anywhere near race speed, my racing tunnel is about double that! Plain old OPC running a spec 2030kv motor and 4s 5000mah.
No wonder it has long run times it has no speed!
