Default Need some advise...

I'm new in boats.
Recently I bought an electric boat ( Seadoo) of about 25 inches long, and would like do some upgrade to increase speed and running time.
Now is doing like a turtle......
So, I'll apreciate any recomendations, not too expensive cos I don't think this boat is a big hit...
Thanks in advance,
Miguel

Hi Miguel,

You're asking two things that are hard to combine: to increase the speed you'll need a hotter motor which will draw more amps, which reduces the runtime.
Or: you add one or more cells to increase the speed, but the motor needs to be watercooled and can still burn out.

Increasing the runtime can be done by taking a more efficient motor, or using batteries with more Ah.

Greetings, Jan.

Hi Miguel,

On the other hand; almost every turtle can be tought how to run fast with moderate means. If you have some pics of your boat, I could give some specific advice, if you like.

Greetings, Jan.

Run, turtle, run!
