Default Battery pack setup

Hallo everyone,

I have a question concerning the setup of the batterycells. I noticed that you can set them up in two different ways:

1)
[-+][-+][-+][-+][-+][-+][-+][-+][-+]

2)
[+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+]
[- ][- ][- ][- ][- ][- ][- ][- ]

What is the difference?
What is the best way?

Also I've heared, that people are running on 2x 10 cells. Which setup is uses (1 or 2), and how are these packs connected?

Regards,

Frank

the number 1 and number 3 CONFIGURATIONS are the best, all thsoe configs had the exact same batteries, 1 and 3 would be the best.
