Hi all. have got a kyosho ATLANTIO 6000 CRUISER (may be called atlantic cruiser in U.S)it has the standard motor in it(mabuchi rs550sh) and standard prop(d34 x p0.8). The boat currently has a ripmax no limit speed controller fitted and runs on a 7 cell battery(8.4v). can anyone suggest an upgrade motor and larger prop to suit. not to sure what it all means about turns and brushless etc.ta

This size hull would run very nice with a 700 motor and 12-14 cells.

I'm not sure however how much surgery would be involved, but the result would be blistering fast, compared to the modest stock performance.
