I have a graupner keywest with a graupner speed 700 bb turbo 8.4 volt,I was wondering if I can run 12 cells in that setup with any success,I have a bunch of 6 cells I would like to run with out cutting them up is 12 cells too many

That is what we all run it on. Try a Octura 438 or 442 or even a CF 42 if you don't like balancing and sharpening props...you can get these from Offshore Eelectrics or Hobby Lobby. Lots of runtime and ballistic speeds. The hull handles 12 cells very nicely.
