okay well i just got this little r/c boat nikko wavebuster he owed me 15 bucks and just gave me this instead it runs ok but i want it faster like much faster is there anything that i can do to increase the speed any ideas appreciatted after all i did get it for free (well 15 bucks).Thanks in advance guys.

Forget it. Just get your $15.00 worth of fun out of it. The problem with Discount store boats is that they are disposable. Tyco, Nikko, Radio Shack, etc. boats don't last very long, are slugs for what you pay for them and have a very short life span. When it breaks down, you might as well toss it in the garbage as you'd have to ship it somewhere for repair.
