Default Shockwave 26 battery??

Hi, I am a long time rc enthusiast, and a newbee at rc boating. I am looking at getting the Shockwave 26. Does anyone know the official website for proboat? I think that is the manufactuer. I want to look at the inside configuration of the RTR version of the SW26. I want to know can I put a 7 or 8 cell battery pack in the RTR version without changing the ESC? Also what is the motor limit of the ESC that it comes with? I put a 7 cell in my Zig Zag Racer 2 and it made a huge difference in performance. And it has not had any problems. Just looking for suggestions for upgrading the SH26. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Gerald

Default RE: Shockwave 26 battery??

Gerald, I bought my Shockwave 26 about last July some time and I've had great luck with it. I think the Offical website is Horizon Hobby but I'm not sure. The max battery it can handle is a 7-cell. I'm using a 6-cell right now. I want to get a 7-cell but don't know where. THe motor limit I think is 550. You can check with pro boat on that. Of right now I am also thinking about upgrading my own shockwave too. Thanks Matt
