Hi, I need someone to recomend a motor for the shockwave 26. I need it to run on 7 cells, cause that is all my ESC will handle. Ofcourse as you know the boat is 26" and is very light. I'm not sure about the stock prop. Does anyone know the pitch of the stock prop. It looks like a racing prop. Or just try to recomend a prop for the motor you recomend.
The boat only runs 14 mph stock. I am looking for the boat to go about 20 to 25 mph.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

A graupner 700 bb 8.4 volt will do pretty good in that boat, but if you really want it to fly get a better speed control that will handle at least 12 cells and put the motor on 12 cells that is what they like.Or you can go brushless and run 7 cells and still be fast

It's a pretty big boat for a 7 cell motor...., the 700 motor 12-14 cells is a good suggestion.
Keeping it cheap, would be a 600 Race, our smaller (20 inch) monohulls run about 20-22 MpH on seven cells, using this motor, as your boat is light, maybe it's worth a try.
With brushless the sky is the limit ( better said, the handling capacities of the hull is the limit...).
Regards, Jan.
