i'm building a hull that is about 24" x 10.5" for one of two possible drive setups.

i wanted to originally use 2 graupner mini jets with 2 550 motors, but now i'm considering the jet drive "for small boats" as a single unit. now i'm even considering a single mini jet. what are some possible setups i could use? i know very little about electric boats, and the speed controls and battery setups confuse me. any help would be great

oh yeah, cheap is good too, i'm a poor high school kid that spends all his money on gas!

use twin 550s, run them direct drive or find the parts from a villain, and get a marine evx speed control. hope this mite help
