Hello, what would be the best ESC for use with a Traxxas Stinger Motor? And would I need to change the shaft ot fit it, and the prop too? Thanks MAtt

About any marine ESC that will work with a 20 turn motor (I think it's 20 turns). What boat is this going into? Do a search for Mtroniks. They have waterproof ESC's if you capsize or just a leaky hull. A waterproof ESC will never hurt.

I bought the proboat waterproof esc from offshoreelectrics.com and so far so good. It is rated down to 15 turn motors, I have it hooked up to a 19 turn motor. It stays reasonable cool although I would like to eventually find a way to watercool it. The best part is that its only $40.

Okay, great. To watercool you could take some aluminum tubing and wrap it around the ESC. I don't know much else about this but someone else here will. The entire outer casing of that ESC is a heatsink so it should stay fairly cool.

Sampoerna what kind of ESC did you get? THe foward only ESC or the one with reverse? I have the foward only one for my shockwave 26. Matt
