What's the benefit of installing trim tabs?????
Would I benefit from installing them on a AquaJet running a 700bb and 16 cells???
Thanks

Hi unclVinnie, my first question is does your boat cativate - bounce or skip across the water? If it does installing trim tabs might be a good idea. Trim tabs can be used to lower the nose of the boat down toward the water. And to help stop the bouncing, etc. But trim tabs do add drag so there is a plus and a minus to them. Another way is to move you center or gravity foward a bit. Mostly by moving your battery foward, a little bit or until the bouncing stops. I don't see a reason to install them on your boat because it doesn't bounce etc. Hope it helps. Matt

Thanks WaveBlaster,
That's what I wanted to know, I thought they would improve the top speed.
If that's all they do, I won't be needing them, boat runs great, doesn't skip or bouce off the water
might do it once in a blue moon, but nothin to worry about.
