I don't know much about the Reedy motors, but I would say 7 cells is safe but 8 cells max. But then again I don't know much about the max cells for motors. So take other people's advice insted of mine; that know more about motors. Matt

ill say 6 on the safe side
and 8 with a watercooled motor
check to see if ur speed control can handel 8 cells first if your going for that option
