Default esc

i was thinking about how many people talk about how they have this esc and theyre not sure if it will work so they buy another. i have never had this problem because i connect my motors to my esc with deams instead of soldering them strait and i velcro my esc down. i was wondering if anyone else has done this, because i never have to buy a new esc since i just bought one really good one.

When I bought an esc I made sure it would work with the motors I wanted and the amount of cells I needed. Mine is inside a water proof box and I also put Deans connectors to the motor. That way if I need to change motors I just unplug it and plug in the new one.

In boats, heat sinks don't work the way they do in cars, unless yoiu figure out a way to get air moving across them.

my esc is a brushless/ brushed and is rated for some huge number of cells (i cant remember how many) so if im running a normal amount of cells it doesnt get hot.
