I want to build a fast boat (doesn't everyone...). I have a Speed 600 motor to use. I am currently using it in a homemade outriggr. Would a monohull be the fastest setup?
My problem is, I don't know what size to make it... If anyone has advice, or best of all, plans, then that would be fantastic!
Thanks, Andrew

I think I will stick with an outrigger, then. Could you mail preditor outrigger plans to [email protected]?
With my current boat, I coppied it from a picture, and got the scale completly wrong. It is one meter long!

Or, do a google search for predator.pdf and you will find them. I have decided I will build a monohull (and yes eyekandy, I know it won't be set up well so it will be slow...). Does anyone have any plans for a monohull that uses a 600 (or 540) motor?
What length should it be? 20 inches? I dunno...

I want to make the mini mono, but how should you do it? It gives no bulkheads or anything...
Also, I want to use it with [link=http://www.howesmodels.co.uk/__12_product_info3_asp3_5_prdID4_38841_n20_Robbe+7 00%2F13+Motor5_usrID36_57B27F74-3BDF-4ED5-A5B3-535764A64DB21.html]this motor, and 2 6 cell packs.[/link] How long should I scale it up for for this?
Thanks for your time, and thanks for those links, eyekandy.
