I want the titans but the evx esc is too expensive. Is there any other good esc that will work for it?
How fast do you think it would make my boat go wih 2 gp3300 6 cell batteries?

You could use the Navi Jeti 600. I think you can get it for around $80.00. Your not going to find anything cheaper than that to run two motors on a boat.
How fast, too many variables. I would say between 18 and 22mph. Its really according to how heavy the boat is and the prop size and alot of other things.

Could i run a car esc and just hook the motors in a series? I have a 15t car esc in it right now and i use two car 20t motors in parralell and it works. It kinda slow though. I havnt gotten it to full speed yet because i need more adjust ments to it.

I would not suggest a Car ESC. Especially a 15 turn ESC. I have a GMV12 limitless ESC and I would not use it. Not to mention its a $170.00 ESC. Car ESCs are not made for boats.

Car ESC's are ok for 7.2 Applications, just not Much Higher and Steps have to be taken to ensure they are waterproofed..
Essentially a No Limit ESC is needed for a Boat as there is more strain on a Prop to Push a Boat then there is for a Wheel to push a Car.
A Wheel runs on a Solid platform and a Prop through a Liquid...

The motor needs to be atleast a 550 and not a 540. Go for the Titans they will do a great job. Titans are the motors that come in the stock Traxxas Villain EX and it is pretty fast out the box. Or if you are into modding motors, then you could get a couple of Johnson Motors, but they will need some work before they will work in that boat.
