All of these boats are VERY different from each other. If you want realibility, then don't go nitro unless you really know how to tune one good. I have the Profisherman and I like it alot. It handles great and has different handling characteristics than any of my other boats. I have upgraded the motor and prop and it runs about 6mph faster than it did stock. I hear good things about the Traxxas Blast, but really don't care for how it looks myself. The Reef Racer is a small pool toy. Are you looking for something to upgrade to go faster one day or are you just wanting to play with it like it is? The Blast is easy to upgrade and so is the Profisherman. The Blast is a inboard, the Profisherman is an Outboard. Like I said they are very different from each other. Its really up to you and what you are looking for. Both the Profisherman and Blast are very realible boats.

blast is my choice
fun , fast out of the box ,
small and its good in rough water
and i have a diffrent hatch on the boat cuz i lost the other one in the water !
the only thing i would do if u got it was the water cooling kit !
best upgrade on anyboat !

Although I would replace the rudder and lock the steerable outdrive.
My second choice would be the reef racer for its cheap price tag.
Whatever your choice is good luck and have fun!

I have the Profisherman and find it to be a very good handling stable and fast boat. It is fast out of the box due to the hull design and with a few small upgrades I'm getting some serious speed from it now. It also is a good looking scale model boat with a very cool and realistic looking outboard unit. The drawbacks I've found are it tends to take on water and the radio range isn't great. Taping the hatches with electrical tape solves the water problem.

I would think that the 'best' advice is to get the one you like the most. That also assumes that you can run the thing (me and small engines don't get along too well
).
