hi all i'v just got a Kyosho Blade Runner and need some advice on how to make it go fast at the moment it has the standard 540 geared motor and speed control but these are slow
can anyone tell me or give me a web link on how i can make this boat go fast

Just buy a 550 or 600 motor and run with 7 cells, and maybe a little larger prop =)

I have heard the drive system is very inefficient for that boat.

I would swap out any geared system for a 700 series motor on a flex, surface drive setup with 12 cells.
