Hey i would like to know the best way to make my own flex shaft

-can you use piano wire for this and what is the best way ro conect to the motor and prop?

why on earth would you want to make your own for? cant you afford one?

Na i can't afford it so i would like to have a go at making one myself if its possible?

well i think they are made from metal cable which is lots of strands of "piano wire".

anyone else know for sure?

ok a 2 foot flex shaft of .125 is 9 bucks with every thing but the prop
and if u would use anyt thing it would be bass sring , but a flez shaft is woven so that either way u run it it wont come undone !
and a bass string will come undone if you run it a certain way
just go buy a 10 dollar flex shaft
