I've got a one acre pond in my backyard and wanted a fairly large electric boat (24" +). It doesn't have to be too fancy, it doesn't have to go too fast, but I need something with a reverse. Most everything I'm seeing that is large enough has twin motors, which don't seem to be reversible. Any recommendations? Thanks, Dean.

a lot of these boats dont have reverse.....you can find the amp rating for the esc of the boat and then switch it out with an esc with the same amp rating, only with reverse.....
the double engine boats you talk about, do they use "vector steering" and no rudder??
if they do, they arent worth buying...i would save up and get a traxxxas blast or a shockwave 26 or maybe even a super vee...they are higher quality and worth every penny

For a guy like you I vote for the Aquacraft EP Hammer or even the Aquacraft Profisherman are both fairly cheap fun boats. Those are both electric, if you are into nitro then Aquacraft also has a Nitro Hammer version.
