Going on looks only but that rudder looks short. How far does the rudder pierce below the surface?

ran the boat today
the speed was okay. I ran the x431(plastic) and I think I can run the x432 without any problem. motor and esc stayed nice and cool.

someone said earlier in this thread that I might get trouble with the waterflow thru the watercooling...so I was pretty glad to see what you can see in the first pic looks like it will be okay.

well...now to the problems. the boat is leaning a lot to the right while on plane. what could couse this?? when it just sitting in the water it looks like the balance if perfect.
and what can I do to get some more speed??
is the strut to high/low??
I will add a video on my youtube so that maybe I can get some help

thats some weird water cooling.
as for the leaning. that is the prop torque. you can fix that by putting more weight on the opposite side tat it leans to.

ran it again today.. but with the x432
first run was with the 8 gp1100 2/3 A. speed was okay like yesterday maybe a tad slower
then I ran it on 6 gp2200 3/4 sub-c. this time the speed was more like what I was aiming for. but still leans to the right. will try it again tomorrow but with an extra cell in the left sponson and see if it will stop leaning. if that works out I might add that cell to the pack.

the gp1100 didn't seem to handle the amp draw or something:/

I read you have a x430 prop.
I want you to test it out.
a x430 will produce less prop torque & it will be easy on the cells (for amp draw).
If it proves to be slower, then you can add a cell and retest.

Ideal would be a lot of cells and a very small prop.
small prop gives lower amp draw/more run time.
more batteries giver more rpm's/ more speed.

yeah...thats what i was going to do. So Ill probably try that next week.

today I ran it with 7 cells. 4 on the left and 3 on the rigth..still leans, but maybe not as much as before.
