Well I ordered a mini jet but I want to get started on the hull build. Does anybody know how much room is needed for this jet.

As in height/lenght.
I know they state the jet is 4.3" long and 5.1" long with the reverse bucket. But no height specs.

Also if anybody has some decent pictures. Post away. The only mini jet pics I could find were like this:

well, without looking it up you can kind of figure it out from the pic and the other dimensions. Also a speed 500 is 1 and 3/8", so I'd say it's about 1 and 1/2" high. That sound about right.

What size size/make boat are you putting it in?
Interested never used the mini jet.

that would probably fit right in with a MHZ gecko or reef racer ..

I was considering a bingo. Was. Today I picked up some wood and I'm going to fab something up. Mono hull of some sorts.

the gecko is way to small. I have it in my Foki and it barly fits. nad the foki is a bit bigger than the gecko.

The jetdrive is about 5cm/2" tall.
