Default Newbie, please help.

Hi all, with Mystery 80amp brushless esc and feigao 6XL (2779kv, long version) running on 12cells, what kind the speed i will get, the boat is 24inches, anyway, is that i good choice or not, please let me know.

no that will not work
That is a very hot set. and will burn up. also 24 inch boat is way to small for 12 cells and a fast motor. might want to try 30inches and over

so should i go for lower KV motor like 8 or 9XL (2000KV) what will get fry if i use 2779KV motor, the esc or the motor?

Just to let you know. I run a 25 inch hull on 6 cells with a L size motor.
A 24 inch boat with 12 cells is way over kill and it not be able to be driven properly

what exactly motor and esc you are using? is it ?L and ?A, how fast its go, are you happy with it?? im not a racer, im a top speed freak basictly, i have a fuller fast fiberglass hull and running with Cordite motor 12cells, im just looking for some upgrade, please help me

it will run 35 mph. i have a lehner XL3600 and 6-8 cells
it is for a specific class.
I have a 9Xl on 12 cells in a 30 inch boat.

sorry for alot of question, just one more, hopefully you dont mind, is your 30 inches boat faster than supervee 27 boat? just try to get some clue how fast is it

for sure.
the SV27 boat is a great boat. its great for a SV27 spec class.

But don't get carried away. a cordite ss1 on 12 cells will do at most 35mph. If you don't know what your in for . then take baby steps
