Default Traxxas Blast or Shockwave 26?

What boat should i get? I want a boat that can go across rough water and yet very calm water easily! I have been looking around and it seems to be either the shockwave 26 or the traxxas blast! I want a bigger boat like one of the two listed then i will get myself a mini-v later!

This goes back to my idea of doing a "So you think you want a Fast Electric Boat?" thread. I wish I had some time to work on it, but I am pretty busy right now at work.

WHAT EVER YOU DO DONT BUY A BLAST i have one. Its terrible the nose takes water over it in the POOL the idiots at traxxas thought they could get away with puting the battery in front of a boat that doesnt have much hull up there to begin with.and ive called them to ask about it and all they seem to ever say is its the trim but ive tried every spot. not the problem. and its mosty when u let the gas off that it happens the trims not goin to effect that. definately not the boat you want. i would get the sw26

Taylor and I were going to start making one for R/C boats in general a while back but the two of us were just so busy and the ball didn't get rolling. It seems the majority of new boaters end up in the electric forum. I wouldn't mind getting this idea going. Perhaps we could pass a document around and continue to add to it with all the key points for FE boating only. Getting four guys or so together to add to the guide would make it a lot easier as time is a factor for everyone.
