Default Brushless Mini Cat

So what is the final verdict on the Mini cat. I have read so many different opinions I cant make up my mind. What batteries make it go fast? What prop? Is it fast out of the box?

Default RE: Brushless Mini Cat

Well for the money, I think its a piece of crap. They just copied off the Canaidain design, and slapped a brushless motor and fibergalssed the thing You could get a MUCH better boat for the money. If you are looking at micro's, they are quite cheap. you could get a motor for 30 dollars, an esc for also 30, then build the hull from the plans, get a quality radio, and IT WOULD be faster. Let me tell you somthing, he is selling it for way more than it is in china, its less than 100 dollars here. Minicat racing usa, more like minicat that was imported.
