I bought one of the RTR brushless Oberto Hydroplanes a while ago but think it had a faulty ESC as I could never get it to work. I have finally got round to taking a look at it and wondered if anyone could advise me on a cheap brushless ESC as I don't think the one that came originally with the boat was anything special!
Whilst looking I have found a couple of Dynam ESCs on dealextreme.com, the manufacturers website is http://www.dynam-rc.com/ and also a few Mystery ESCs on ebay such as [link=http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mystery-RC-40A-Brushless-Motor-Speed-Controller-ESC-KP_W0QQitemZ270156472946QQihZ017QQcategoryZ34056QQ ssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem]this[/link]. Though I guess they are not designed for boats so was unsure if they would work..
Another quick question, has anyone come across a M.Troniks 250 High Frequency Brushed ESC before? One came in a boat I won on ebay but I can't find any info on how many cells it can handle etc.
Any advice welcome.
