Place it on the front verge of your house and hope that someone steals it, thereby doing you a favour by taking it off your hands. Then go and buy a new boat.

No conflicting information. Usually if you replace the hull, you will see a performance benefit, but the motors in those boats are not hobby grade so you'll want to get a different motor. I imagine the boat you have doesn't have water cooling so you should think about adding that. Ofcourse the new motor (any good one) will blow the stock speed control so just get a new one now. I'd be very warry of the radio system too. Once you have it dialed in with the new batteries you won't want to loose it due to radio problmes. That should get you started.

I did the same thing and I know what your talking about. (my boat was the Malubu at walmart) I had the same proplem. I experimented a few times needless to say the best working thing I came up with was a new hull. When I did it I refused a new hull I wasted usefull time of my life. I finally made a balsa wood catamaran and It never turned to one side again. :-) But If you insist on the same hull try other things mabye you'll get lucky!
