I have a microcatracingusa.com starship outrigger can I use a 2s 8.4 v 2100 lipo? the 3s 1.1v 2100 lipo I have is way too big and heavy. any other suggestion is appreciated.

yeah....but you might need to buy a higher KV motor or use a bigger prop....

There is an alternative way to setting up the starship than what the instructions show. Put the ESC in the right front of the hull and then lay the lipo on its edge up into the nose and alongside the left side of the motor (looking from the stern). Should fit that way.
