take off the nozzle and put a piece of tape on one side (same with the hole in the boat) and fill it in with two part epoxy. when it's cured remove the tape.

Ah key word is nicely/decorative. I could do it that way but when ya look at it, it would still have a hole through it(u should see jet villain, clear holes all over, severly needs paint)even though it was sealed.
Hmmmm... just thinking... could simply add led light to hull, and fill in the jet for now, I think I'm going to order short steering eventually. Here's pic, sure hope it's available in black, white looks wrong![:@]

Use JB weld instead of clear epoxy it will be darker in color or just take black permanent marker and color the epoxy. For the top hole epoxy it and then put a small decal or sticker over the top like a dole banna one. Or take a piece of tubing w/bend in it to make it look like an exhaust pipe. Just some thoughts want more?

Dragon might do that! Sent email asking about other colors and shipping.
Damfurst good ideas. The sticker idea is pretty good if I don't make it a rear light. If I do light, then will add green and red at front.[:-] Never done it seems.

Well good news for me my esc has arrived in HK, they have tested it found it faulty and will issue replacement.
That was Monday so hopefully should get it in a week or so.
Water cooling is sorted just waiting for esc to test/abuse the boat, have tub tested with cheap low amp esc and all seems well.

Hmmm... dunno. Could permanent marker it but I'm sure over time it would change color. Crappy. Looked at how much to just send the mini nozzle, almost 34 bucks for just that. Ouch![:@] Bad conversion to euro.

Ahhh we'll see... at that price I'm just going to hope the epoxy works on current one. I really like the shorter jet though, I think it will do better at not getting hit as I'm trying to avoid putting in a nozzle protector. Will probably be kicking my self when i break it on a rock this summer.[:-]

Sounds good dragonfire which 3 blade prop did you use?
My replacement esc was shipped from HK today their time so not too long for me to wait now i hope.
Here's some news pics, no esc for obvious reasons

Dragon, look at these props [link]http://www.loyalhannadockyard.com/PROPS.htm[/link]. Particularly the Rivabo #P543-031 4 blade about halfway down the page. Looks like a good candidate for cutting down for impeller use. Not bad prices either. Sundog

I liked the look of the seven blader too, might have to spend the evening hunting for possible multiblade impellers.
Thanks dragonfire seems like a lot of work has gone into it without much visible difference, shame my construction pics where all low quality.

Looks good wishing i'd put the water pickup where you did but couldn't find a threaded connector like the one you have.
Have to have a race
