Default ESC for 9S LiPo 100A? Powering 63" Riva

Howdy!

Well, my question is for finding a good ESC for 9S lipo, power levels apprx +100A.

It is intend to go my twin-motor 67" size Riva Aquarama scale mahogany boat, weighing
apprx 50lbs.

Motor set-up is possible going to be 2 pces 10-pole outrunners, T-REX 40-500, from Flyware.

As it is a scale boat, reverse operation is needed, and this feature seems limiting
a bit esc´s available, for high voltage/amps combination.

Any good ideas?

Thanks & BR,

Hannu

Hi,

Yep, but... around 500Euro/ pce, and for twin-motor...
Has anybody tried Castle 110HV? Less than half of price of Schulze

Hannu

They are good. Some people run them in low cost 1/8 scale boats.
You will need a Pistix adapter to use a pistole grip radio. But if you have a stick then you will be fine.

Hi,

Any idea how they run with multipole- motors ( 10-pole, rpm apprx 14.000)?
Mostly in boats I have used DX7 radio

Well the Hv110 is made for planes, and planes usually have hi pole motors so I would say it would work good.
