HELP// WHICH BRUSHLESS MOTOR/ ESC
I HAVE JUST BUILT A RIGGER ( 30''/ 19 OZ)...I DONT KNOW WHAT ENGINE AND SPEED CONTROL TO USE....WOULD LIKE THE RIGGER TO GO AROUND 55MPH.....IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO THIS FOR LESS THAN $225....ALSO NEED TO GET HARDWARE ( RUDDER, TURNFIN, DRIVE SHAFT, ECT )....IIM A LITTLE GREEN TO THE SPORT/ USED TO RACE OFFROAD CARS....SO ANY ADVISE WILL BE APPRECIATED. I HAVE A SUPER VEE 27..WILL THE UPGRADE MOTOR ( AMMO ) GIVE ME THE POWER I NEED? THANKS

Hello there my friend, and welcome to the forum. to answer some of you questions:
Yes your rigger ( if properly built and strong) can do 55 mph and if it is good, closer to 70mph
but No i do not believe a 55mph setup will cost you under 225 dollars.
you would be looking at about 500-950 dollars for a setup to be fast and reliable.
second, Your AMMO B/l motor will work in this boat but you will not get 55 mph out of it, You might only see about 40-45 if you lucky.
