Default NEW SV Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Hi all I have been reading the threads for a while and banging my head on weather or not to get a SV and I did it. I traded my buddy a mini t for it (good deal ) I won't waste any time putting a pic up because i'm sure every one knows what a SV looks like. I do have a question on batteries, I know there is a HUGE thread on them but my eye's started to go crazy. I would like to make it have some good go go juice, What would be the best lipo configuration 2-2cell 7.2's or running 2-3cell's paralell. I want to get the best bang for a realistic price and not $150 a batt. any info would be a lot of help thanks. Glad to be a part of the SV family,
Thanks again Dave

Try here. http://www.battlepack.com/SV27.asp This will give you higher voltage. 14.8 vs. 11.1 for the 3s.

Try these cells:

2S-4800 mAh - $65 per pack. I'll be using these same cells in three larger race boats. Good company to deal with as well.

Look up "turborix 14.8v 15c" on ebay, will come up with a few different models. Click on 5000mah. 75 amp constant, 125amp burst. 525g

I have 2 of these, work awsome and better price, I've ordered 10 batts off these guys, have had water etc on them and no issues.

Ivan.

They do cost more lately(now 82-83), i had gotten mine for 65bucks a couple months ago, not sure why they had price increase.
