I currently have two 3s1p 11.1v 1200 mah 10c lipos off my old cp pro (heli) looking at a boat, with a Lehner Basic 5300 700 Watts @ 55 Amps 5300 145g can I use these batts?
Will they work either together or just one? if so will a ETTI 70Amp brusless esc work well with it?
Just thought while Im waiting to put together my cat system I could slap this together relatively easily considering the boat in question would need radio an batts, if mine would work then I have everything for running. Your help would be appreciated.

Nien!!
the c stands for capacity, normally the constant draw on the pack. You multiply that by the size of your pack. Which is 1200mah or 1.2amps.
So 10X1.2=constant amp draw of 12amps
More than likely the burst is 15sec at 12c so that would give you 14.4amps.
If your run in parallel then you would have 24amp draw 28.8 burst.
I would suggest a bigger battery if you expect to use those motors. Easy way of figuring out what is just to reverse the equation.
so if your need 55amps (go 60-65 just in case) 60 divided by say 20c would give you a 3 amp pack or 3000mah.
Good luck.

Thanks, I though those little buggers were too small to do anything effectively. So maybe a 2s1p in the 3-4k mah would be a better pack.
couldnt hurt to ask though only used them twice each an then when using the stock battery i crashed the heck out of it, which is why I like boats, less gravity to deal with

I've got the same packs, and they work well for boats around 15" or less, put em together and the boat moves pretty good on a 20amp motor.
