Default 1/4" strut to 3/16???

Hi all,
can i board a 1/4" strut to fit 3/16 prop shaft by using brass tube?

i'm sure you could. but why not just buy the proper strut or the proper stub

you can add bushing yes. but a new strut would work as well, just buy a speed master strut only
