Default SAW SV

Someone on another forum was asking what would be the fastest feigao motor he could run in his SV for streight away dragging? He's running a Hydra 120 and IB4600's. What do you guys think? I know this boat isn't meant for streight line racing but I just thought I'de get him some more opinions to help out.
Thanks

if you really want a 540 size motor go to hacker. order a 5XL, get the hi temp magnets and throw on some boca berings
run the boat for about 20 seconds and see how it goes.

the boat if ran SAW is a P mono which i believe is up around 70 mph.
you SV 27 hull would be stupid at anything over 50.
get a diffrent hull

I think he's planning on running it at the 'fastest SV' event.

The guy just whants to make his sv as fast as possible and doesn't whant to have to be limited to 1 or 2 passes. He just whants to be able to run allmost to fast for the sv and run the whole battery packs down w/o overheating his packs or esc. He doesn't whant to spend more than a feigao or maybe ammo costs. I don't think he's actually going to be racing it. I told him if he really whanted to run saw he'd only be getting a couple minuites before heat becomes an issue and he doesn't whant to have to come in and cool off after every couple passes, so I think he really just whants to make it a very fast sport boat. What motor would be pushing the envalope in that price range and would be safe with the 120 amp esc he's allready got?

540 9L motor on 4s lipo and a 120amp esc, x640~642 will put the boat faster then it can handle. You asked for SAW..so we gave it to you I have a SV that can run 60 on a good day, what it takes to get there is far more then you should ever want to do. better hulls out there for running saw.
