My friend has the boat in the the picture below it is an Admiral 40". Now that he has had it a while he wants to improve it ( make it faster, longer run time, better abillity in water ect...)What can he do to improve his boat?Or should he just get a better boat?

the picture below??? i guess you're referring to the kyosho-lamborghini cat clone by NQD. If your friend only wants a faster boat, tell him to buy another boat, a new one, a scratch and dent model or a second hand one on ebay. Just make sure he's buying hobby-grade stuff, and not toys, like the admiral. That way he can upgrade to better components if and when he feels like it. As it is, to be made to go faster the admiral needs a complete make-over to be made to run fast. Check out the thread on the NQD hydro or the NQD twin-outboard cat. They're not exactly the admiral, but the principles of the conversion are the same. It can be done, and it's great fun doing it, but for the time, money and effort, if its only a faster boat he's after he's much better off buying a hobby-grade boat.

Good luck

Heres what you should do, trade it to someone for 10$ and then get the other 200+ to make a decent boat

Run dual SV motors on 4s. That will get her moving!
