RE: sv27 question
I have read many topics about useing Lipos but it would make life too difficulty.
1. I would have to buy new ESC because original would kill Lipo batterys(voltage goes too low).
2. Nother way would be to buy 2xlipo cutoffs.
3. Also all horror stories don´t help it When Chargeing U HAVE TO BE very carefull [&o]
4. Money issue, they are more exdpensive(exept from korea) and need different charger.
5. People says that thay don´t last more then max.3 years use it or not.
My plan is to buy 2 sets of NiMH other set with 2x7 cells.
Is this true? ->(If you do run the 7 cell packs, you have to eliminate the BEC and run a separte battery pack for the reciever.)
Still it´s possible that i go to lipos, u never know! If i don´t get speed enought with NiMH[:-]

3. Use LiPo's as instructed in the manual and there will be no problems.
4. LiPo's initially cost more than NiMh but are cheaper in the long run.
5. True but NiMh only last about a year until performance significantly drops on high end cells. Therefore you have to buy 3 times more cells.

RE: sv27 question
Ryan is right on that, and im running stock motor and esc in my sv27 and run wide open 10-15min and still have lots left, but like ryan said, never run a lipo pack really low, besides...15min of 40mph on an sv27 is a trill...lol if you can keep her from flipping.
