Default Hydromite steering...

Is this enough torque for a 15" Hydromite?

Default RE: Hydromite steering...

off the top of my head i''d say yes no prob. I''ve used the Hextronic 9g microservo (same size, but of more dubious quality than futaba) on a 26'''' sidewinder, a 3inch home-made rudder (about one inch in the water at full speed, blade about 3/4'' wide, tapered to 1/2'' at tip, and about 3 pound heavy v-hull, without any problems (not to save weight, but because i was impatient to try the boat . so my guess is yes, go for it.
