I use a swallow. I also have a triton ($99 vrs $220) and I find I use the swallow much more often because its so easy to use.

If you have a really tight budget, you could try this one, http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXPRL3&P=X. I peraonally have never used ne so I cannot comment on its performance.

For $70 you can do a lot better than a pair of timer chargers. Try to get a "peak" or automatci charger. It is many times cheaper and better to get a pair of chargers. Look into a pair of 960 MRC or a pair of digital piranhas.

One question, do you require AC power capability?

These are great with dc , but slower than the 960 MRC on ac power. A PAIR of 960's might be nice.

The dual peak has two Deans Ultra plug Charge leads with gold-plated banana plugs.

For NIMH I like the discontinued Duratrax Twin Pulse charger, but for both LIPO and NIMH I like the Hyperion 606
