Default SV27 Lipo Battery Mounting Options

How do you mount your packs in the hull, I was thinking 3M Dual Lock. In the past I have not had good luck with adhesive backed Velcro because of heat but I'm running lipos now so the heat shouldn't be bad. If you have seen 3M Dual Lock you know its not Velcro.

I use the standard type adhesive-backed velcro, but I epoxy the strips into the boat, haven't had it come off the batteries yet, but if it did I'd find a suitable high-temp tolerant glue or epoxy.
One thing I also do is I cut some wedges out of pool noodle foam to wedge the packs in as well. This wins me a ton of heats, because if you roll over or stuff, the batteries still stay in place with the combo of velcro and wedges...with just velcro, even the rigors of race water can dislodge the packs IME.

I use velcro (hook and loop) that can strech and glue it to the battery location. Place my pack on this section pull the strechy velcro (loop) over the battery and press it tightly on the (hook) side of the opposite type of velcro. This holds the pack in place without the need to glue anything to the pack itself.
