Yeah we all know this. So why didn't I tape the hatch down on my wifes Mini-V.?
Sure it's a small kinda cheesy boat...but she loved it! Especially since I added a larger 3 blade prop.
She was gallanty trying to rescue my overturned SV27 when it flipped. I thought no worries as I had just added extra flotation.
With just two inches of bow remaining above the surface we watched is it slipped in to the drink.
My wife stood there frozen, jaw slightly droped and eyes wide open. She was clutching the remote with here left hand motionless, as if it waiting for it to appear from its errand at the bottom of the pond.
I know a lot of us loose boats, and it is not the end of the world and we will survive.
But it was well...sad, espeically the look on here face.
It could have been avoided if I would have taped dowm the hatches!!

I'm crying on the inside. You can't go out and get it? How deep was the water? Just make a little drag net of some type out of some fishing weights and some screen material or something similar.
