Default ORION LIPO

I am looking at a set of Orion 2s-1p lipos. Two questions what does the -1p mean? And I heard you can not charge them with a MRC charger?? I want to use them in my supervee.

The P can be pretty much ignored regardless of what number follows it. It is describing the number of cells that are hooked parallel.
The 989 is fine , and the 977 uses a non-standard charge routine , but still works well.
