I run two 7.4 2s2p 64000mah in my stock SV27. I really don't know all the numbers but, they seem to be doing well and really not a lot of money.

Uhhh how many amps are you expecting to pull? 5000mah at 30c are bloody spensive, that's 150 amps constant, if ya par 2 up that 300 amps available, not to mention burst.[X(]

I would go with Flightpower, PolyRC, Polyquest, Thunderpower or Elite 30c cells in a boat. I even run 25c cells in my hulls and as long as you are using quality packs you should never have a problem. Boats are ruff on batteries so don't skimp there!
