I have no clue what specs this motor has. I need to know can diameter, length and most importantly kv.

There is no difference between car and boat motors. That doesn't mean it will work. The questions you have not answered will determine if it will work or not.

What is the physical dimensions of the motor? THe can diameter in mm and the length in mm. Also, what is the rated Kv of this motor.

I understand it will physically fit in your hull, otherwise why would you ask?

3500kv motor will work on an N2 6 cell rigger. Typically a much higher kv motor is used. You will most likely be able to spin a high 30mm prop but start around a low pitched 35mm prop.

of course it wont work. you need hardware, a battery, flex shaft, rudder servo etc etc. PENDING all that stuff then MAYBE it might if you would give up MORE detail on what it is you are doing?
6 cell rigger well does that mean it is 27 inches long, perhaps 75 inches long. who knows. i don't, i cant read minds.

Man, Taylor that was sharp ![:@]
It is a pretty safe bet that a 6-cell rigger will not be 75" long, 20-26" maybe.
I agree that the hardware choice will alter performance particularly the prop.
I have proven that you do not need expensive high tech hardware to get speed, you have seen the thread on my balsa cat with the wooden strut spar.

As a positive note to the author of this thread.
50 krpm will spin a 30mm prop like Ryan says.
Given the specs that Detox provided we can see that this is a typical car motor size, so it will go.

To All in.
If you post a pic or two of your boat and some of the basic specs there are many people here who are keen to help.
I am in the process of developing a new 6-cell rigger for my fleet, so will watch with interest and help where I can.
