Default Finally!!! A Brushless RTR Hydro...but

But...it's made by Proboat.

I've been waiting for a brushless Miss Vegas, this is close, but I don't know.

At least it doesn't have that blasted steerable outdrive, or screwy turn fins.

I didn't find the standard "go fast in the straights, then crawl through the turns" video, but I'm sure one is coming.

Yup, proboat made history.

I wonder how good it'll be. I noticed that it has the same BJ26 electronics so power-wise I think it'll be fairly good.

They really needed to move everything that they could further forward, they had the room. It's still a flat-bottom boat until they make some changes to make use of the front sponsons.

Yeah, it seems like Proboat really took the Brushelss idea and ran with it. Unfortunately, they look to be running in the wrong direction.

It is a LONG wait between Aquacraft brushless boats though...

Proboat has released the BJ26, Formula FASTech and Miss Elam as brushless models, in the same amount of time Aquacraft has released...a nitro boat (the SV), a gas boat (Rio 51), and a brushed electric boat (Mini Rio).

Aquacraft started the RTR brushless market, then promptly forgot about it.

I'm still not touching anything ProBoat makes...I'd rather wait for an Aquacraft boat that is designed correctly, than buy a ProBoat that was rushed to market, and have to gut it and rebuild it to make it perform like and Aquacraft.

Perhaps we all should wait until it is released before bashing it. I own 3 Proboats that I have modified from Nitro and Gasto electric. All have held up well using stock components.
All this speculation is pure ignorance.

I'm waiting, believe me. I just meant, it's been almost 2 years now.

That amount of time (plus the fact that the last 3 boats they released were not brushless - especially following the success of the SV27) would make it "look" like they stopped developing brushless hulls.

Aquacraft has many irons in the fire, some that may not see the marketplace. It also takes time to do things right instead of just slapping parts together.
